We roll through the Colorado Plateau in our signature white-striped truck, serving up hearty, handcrafted meals made from scratch — because the best food isn't found on a menu, it's found on the journey.
Rooted in the Plateau
Take Ahwééh — meaning "to take nourishment" in Diné — was born from a simple conviction: the people driving through Montezuma Creek and the surrounding valleys deserve a meal that feels like home, even when they're far from it.
We started as a weekend dream and a heavily modified lunch truck. Seven years later, our white-striped truck is a familiar sight at ranch gatherings, construction sites, state park rest stops, and Friday night community events across three counties.
Everything we serve is prepared fresh each morning. No freezers. No shortcuts. Just real ingredients, family recipes passed down, and the kind of flavor that makes strangers become regulars.
Whether you're pulling into a rest stop or hosting a gathering, here's what makes the truck different.
Every morning we start from scratch. Produce, proteins, dough — nothing touches our kitchen until it's that day's first ingredient. What you taste is what we cooked at dawn.
Our route covers Montezuma Creek, Kayenta, and the surrounding Navajo Nation communities. Follow us on social media for daily location updates so you never miss us.
Ranch dinner, birthday bash, crew lunch — bring the truck to your event. We handle the food, the serving, and the cleanup. You handle the gathering.
We don't have a fixed address — we have a route, a schedule, and a growing list of regulars who know exactly where to find us each week.
